Pantene Pro-V Reviews

Owned by Proctor & Gamble, Pantene is a leading budget hair care brand internationally. Known for its advertisements with gorgeous Kiwi model Rachel Hunter, the brand has just launched a new range featuring both Rachel & daughter Renee Stewart. "It doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen!"

Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Intensive Treatment
Product type: rich hydrating hair masque designed to repair dry and coloured hair to optimum condition.
This product is already working wonders to restore moisture back into my hair and I have only been using it for a few weeks now. The cooler weather in winter often strips the moisture from my hair leaving it to feel dry and brittle but I have found this to be revitalizing because it enlivens my hair and keeps it feeling hydrated and healthy. Use Intensive Treatment when your hair is looking dull and feels dry or damaged thanks to harsh weather and heating elements. Be aware that water can enter the jar because I learned the hard way when water started leaking into mine. The packaging is attractive and the perfect size for a rich and creamy mask but sadly it just isn't watertight.

Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo & Conditioner
I’ve been using both the shampoo and conditioner for about a month now and I’ve seen a  considerable difference in my hair. Not only have I seen a difference but friends even started commenting about how good my hair has been looking. My hair looks stronger, softer and shinier and it even feels healthier, softer and much smoother. I like the generous size of the bottles (350ml) because I have long hair and I need a little more product than someone with a shorter do. There is one big issue with the bottles' packaging: The design is the same and I often mistake one product for the other so I would like to see a more distinct difference between the shampoo and the conditioner.

Pantene Pro-V Nourished Shine Shampoo & Conditioner ($7.99AUD) ★★★½
I must admit: I do not usually purchase supermarket brands when choosing haircare products but always  open to trying new things, I was looking forward to giving Pantene Pro-V Nourished Shine Shampoo & Conditioner a go. It smells lovely and leaves my hair looking clean and shiny (which is always a good sign of having healthy hair!) My hair feels soft and my scalp does not feel irritated. I love the packaging and both come with convenient flip top lids and nice large bottles perfect for the shower. I look foward to using it more often but overall I would consider purchasing again as it does leave my hair feeling and looking healthy and I even clean my makeup brushes with the shampoo because it gives brushes a really thorough clean while leaving them feeling soft and smelling pretty.

Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle ($7.99AUD) ★★★
Product type: a quick fix three minute leave-in hair conditioner to soften & strengthen lengths. Packaged in plastic miniature squeeze tubes.
I was very excited to use this product as my poor hair has been so neglected of late with split ends, and frizzy cuticles. Having only used this twice so far, I have found no real change to my hair and how it looks or feels - there is a slight difference in softness but not a great deal of difference. It says to use the product once per week on average but I used it twice in hope of achieving better results and having fine hair (and lots of it), I used a whole tube in two goes. I also left it in for about twenty minutes on the second occasion to give it more 'working time' but unfortunately it did not do a lot for my hair. I would not buy this product again but so thrilled that I finally got to try it out.

I like the pantene conditioner and use it sometimes for a change.

I got a sample of 3-Minute Miracle yesterday and I was excited to try it too. But like you, I didn't notice any difference to my hair. It smelled great, and it felt nice on, but that's about it.

I'm always worried about using Pantene because hairdressers say it damages the hair and they can't colour it properly. Is that true?
