The stunning Rachel Gilbert show was amass of glitter and glam. I love the intricate cuts and trims as well as bubble skirts and bejewelled body con pieces because they look hot! Pieces are glamorous and look 'expensive'... if you're reading this Ms Gilbert, I would like to order one of everything (I wish!)
While models are typically chosen for their unusual looks Rachel Gilbert has certainly embraced this by choosing models who I personally would not use for my makeup portfolio. However a handful are simply stunning and the chosen images show some of my favourites.
Unfortunately I was unable to make the show but the team at Goldwell have provided me with some gorgeous images to share with you.
Hair: a fantastic formal up-do; the twisted ponytail is a refined and polished at the too, with unkempt ends to soften the look and prevent it from looking overdone.
Makeup Inspiration: Hollywood celebrities who nail it on the red carpet, without looking like they’re trying too hard. Clean, refined luxury. Effortless. Napoleon says, "This look might be high impact, but it needs to appear low maintenance. Clean lines on the eye, and flawless blending everywhere else."
Thanks to Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics for providing a face chart of the look.
