MAC Surf, Baby Collection

It might be cold outside Beautettes but thanks to MAC's new Summer collection, we can look towards sun-kissed skin for a little while longer with their new limited collection, Surf, Baby.

If there is one problem with Surf, Baby collection, it would have to be the advertising. MAC are world leaders in the makeup industry and usually create ad capture amazing makeup styles on fantastic models. Unfortunately the model and the way in which she was photographed does not do the new collection justice and although there are shirtless guys in this ad, I am still drawn to the model's bored and tired face. It is just so uninspiring to me - does anyone else out there agree?

I am currently trialling a few of the products and simply cannot wait to share my reviews with you. So if you are feeling down and miserable due to the cold weather, pop in to your local MAC counter and treat yourself to these fabulous goodies... get them while the fire is hot beautettes because they will not be around forever! My top pick: Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Gilded White - it contains a gorgeous shimmer through it.
