Napoleon Perdis NP Set Say Goodnight Night Cream ★★★
Review: A lightweight night cream, Say Goodnight Night Cream is paraben-free, but that does not detract from the heavy scent which makes the overall product unappealing because the heady scent is distracting and does seem to help me get a good night’s sleep. Containing Shea Butter to hydrate, Vitamin E for a youthful appearance and ProVitamin B5 to protect, Say Goodnight Night Cream contains nasty ingredients such as Dimethicone, Acrylates and Fragrance. While the night cream glides along the skin with ease, its watery texture does not feel creamy or luxurious like other creams do and the product does feel ‘watered-down’ so to speak.

Goodnight Night Cream

Review: I was
excited to be reviewing this nutrient-rich moisturiser which promises to
restore my skins suppleness while I sleep. Instant winner there... you have
sold me already! The cream contains luscious Shea Butter which we all know
smells amazing! Say Goodnight Night Cream also has Vitamin E for its nourishing
and skin glowing properties. My first impression of Say Goodnight Night Cream was,
wow! The first week that I used Say
Goodnight Night Cream before going to sleep my skin felt like a million dollars
and I truly loved using it. In this short period of time I even started to
notice my skin tone changing, becoming more even and feeling smoother. I saw my
reflection in the mirror glowing back at me ... and how it did wonders for
around my eyes - I saw an improvement within the first few days use which was
really pleasant (although I would like to advise avoiding the eye area because
this cream is too rich and suited to thicker skin on the rest of the face).
After a week
three, however I was disappointed to discover that by the morning my skin was
noticeably quite oily, particularly around my normally mildly patches including
the t-zone and jaw line areas. While my skin is generally on the dry side I was
rather surprised – especially seeing as though I trialled this product in the
winter time. I wouldn’t say my skin was in any way oily so I was surprised to
be seeing this result. Say Goodnight Night Cream smells so delicious you will want
to lather it all over you when you open the lid. The rich formula feels so moisturising
upon application and absorbs quite fast (although I noticed that the product
leaves a residue on the skin which seems to sit there for hours looking ‘shiny’
and feeling a little bit greasy. Would I
purchase this night cream in future? Sadly, no. Say Goodnight Night Cream does not
do everything it claims such as the fact it is not really for all skin types. I
am not sure what skin type it is for.
Purchased: No.
