Review: I have been using Clarins Eclat Minute
Instant Light Perfector in Rose Shimmer
for around two months and I have really enjoyed using this unique illuminator.
I find its lovely lightweight formula just glides over the skin with ease, leaving
my complexion appearing even and feeling smoother than it had done. The creamy
liquid highlighter leaves only a very slight shimmer on my skin and makes skin
appear a little dewier. I like its natural finish because I do not want to look
like a ‘disco ball’ – I prefer a natural look. Rose Shimmer is a gorgeous soft
pearlescent rose gold tone that can be worn alone or mixed with a moisturiser
or liquid foundation. I have tried it
with moisturiser but I don’t tend to see its benefits when used this way. Clarins
Eclat Minute Instant Light Perfector
tends to help my makeup last longer throughout the day – like a primer would - and
offers a natural dewy look. After experimenting and applying this illuminator
under and over foundation, I have found that I prefer to wear it underneath foundation
as it illuminates my complexion and makes it appear flawless without the liquid
formula sitting on the surface of my makeup and leaving it sticky (which it can
do when worn over makeup). The packaging is ideal for the product’s use - its
pump applicator is both convenient and hygienic. The flat lid is perfect if you
wish to stand it up in your vanity also. The scent is a strong floral fragrance
which I believe would be overpowering for some people but I personally enjoy it.
Will I purchase this when the product runs out? More likely than not but I do
not feel that Clarins Eclat
Minute Instant Light Perfector is a
must-have staple piece for your beauty bag.
Tip: Use under your foundation for glowing skin with
a dewy finish.
