About: curling mascara with a tube drying formula. Packaged in a hot pink metallic mascara tube with curved silicone brush applicator.
Review: With a
name like Killer Curves, I anticipated that this mascara would
dramatically curl, lift and lengthen my lashes. Killer Curves did give my
lashes a nice, clean, defined curl best suited for day wear – but I wouldn't call it a killer effect! Blackest Black is a glossy carbon black, and one
coat gave my lashes a very subtle curl and separated them nicely, leaving my
lashes looking glossy and healthy. Two coats made my lashes appear thicker, longer and even curled. Three quick coats, and I started
having a few issues with the lashes sticking together, creating an undesirable look which needed correcting. So I found that Killer Curves Mascara lends itself best to two coats of
mascara, where it does give the lashes a nice defined curl, minus the
use of an eyelash curler prior to applying mascara. The formula is quite nice, and
it leaves 'tube's around the lashes. It doesn’t budge, fade or smudge during the day, even with sensitive eyes that tend to water very easily. It
also doesn’t drop particles of formula and, just as important, it only has a very slight scent
that doesn’t irritate my eyes. Killer Curves Mascara is very easy to remove, however while claims to be easily removed with warm water, I required a gentle makeup remover to
ensure my lashes were completely clean. The formula of Killer Curves Mascara is neither too thick or too thin, so it doesn’t
clump or run. The narrow, slimline wand is a cross between a brush and a comb, and gets to the hard to reach lashes with ease. In all honesty, Killer Curves Mascara is not the best mascara I’ve
ever tried but I still think this is a great mascara perfect for work or weekend day wear, and considering it is
only $12.95, this is a great bargain buy which won't break the bank.
