Roche-Posay Uvidea XL BB Melt-In Cream really does melt-in to the skin and
blends seamlessly to create a medium coverage foundation with a delightful
flawless finish. While I am super impressed by the coverage and overall
performance of this BB cream, I too am excited about the fact that this product
not only covers and conceals but also contains SPF50 sunscreen to protect my
delicate fair skin from the sun's harsh rays. I am naturally fair skinned and
tend to opt for light foundation shades but Uvidea XL BB Melt-In Cream
comes in rather fair shades and a medium is actually light enough for me to
wear so if you wish to try this BB cream, I would advise going the next shade
up from what you are used to buying. This wonderous BB cream covers, conceals,
prevents the appearance of hyper-pigmentation, protects skin from sun damage,
and hydrates. This affordable product offers fabulous coverage on the skin and
lasts all day. I can apply this at 7am and Uvidea XL BB Melt-In Cream will
still offer coverage by 6pm. Having said that though this product does tend to
make my slightly oily t-zone appear a little oilier through the day and so I
find the need to apply face powder by around 1pm to ensure my skin looks and
stays fresh as needed. The squeeze tube is easy to use and makes application
simple because you can gradually squeeze out the amount needed. Uvidea XL
BB Melt-In Cream is best applied with a foundation brush or egg-shaped blending
sponge because they help the product to melt in to the skin and blend
seamlessly along the jaw and neck. Uvidea XL BB Melt-In Cream loses half a
star because of the mid-day shine factor on the skin and the fact that the
product tends to wear off my chin through the day a little bit also and while
others may not notice this, I tend to. It also loses another half a star
because this BB cream does fail to conceal blemishes or dark circles which is a
bit of a shame when compared to some of its competitors currently on the
market. Having said that, I can highly
recommend Uvidea XL BB Melt-In Cream to other BB cream lovers because this
lovely product really tends to do what it promises to and is a really affordable
option for everyone to enjoy.
