About: a facial moisturiser which hydrates and improves skins texture. Packaged in a plastic jar.
Review: For years I have been fascinated by the Philosophy
beauty brand but I have only ever tried a couple of their products so I was
only too thrilled to trial the Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar range of
products. Renewed Hope in a Jar is a beautifully hydrating facial moisturiser
with a creamy texture. The rich formulation means that a little goes a long way
and so this jar of goodness should last around 3 months if used twice daily –
or longer if only used of an evening. Containing AHA’s to help skin rejuvenate
quicker and gently exfoliate, Renewed Hope in a Jar is rich in hyaluronic acids
and blue agave leaf extract to encourage hydration. After having only used this
moisturiser both daily and of an evening, my skin has already started to reap
the benefits of hydration, and the AHA’s are helping my skin regenerate quicker
and when your skin tends to build up quicker that most people, this proves to
be a huge reward. Whilst using Renewed Hope in a Jar moisturiser, I have also
used the Renewed Eye Cream and Cleanser so while I would like to give the face
cream all of the credit, I really do believe the three products work together
in harmony. Renewed Hope in a Jar cream contains skin illuminators along with
skin energy boosting cells, and while it is too early to overly speculate on
these properties my skin is starting to appear clearer and more even. Because
this product contains AHAs I would advise wearing sunscreen of a daytime
otherwise you might risk extra sun exposure. The floral scent is lightweight
and appealing and seems to relax my skin’s senses at the end of a long day. I
am sold on Renewed Hope in a Jar cream.
