Review: This is the first product from Al'chemy that I
have tried, and I was very excited to see that, like the rest of the product
range, Lavender & Anthyllis 24 Hour Intensive Moisture Leave-in
Conditioner hasn’t been tested on animals. It is also free from sulfates,
parabens, petrochemical cleansers, phthalates, DEA, silicones and artificial
colours. The fact that it contains no harsh ingredients, and only 100% natural
ingredients certainly got my interest. Al'chemy Leave-in Conditioner is a daily
moisture treatment for all hair types. The inclusion of amino acids,
antioxidants, herbal extracts, Jojoba Oil and Avocado Oils add moisture,
strength and help protect the hair from styling and environmental damage. I have long hair down to the middle of my back and although it is in fairly good
condition, there is no denying that over the years it has been through
tremendous abuse through numerous colouring and heat-styling sessions. The
ends are therefore currently a little dry and stressed, and
being inside a lot with the heater on, certainly isn’t helping the condition of
my hair either. Al'chemy Leave-in Conditioner is subtly scented with
deliciously natural herbal ingredients, including lavender, which I love,
although this scent fades quickly once absorbed into the hair. Al'chemy
Leave-in Conditioner is a thick cream, which can be applied to wet or dry hair
de-frizz, add definition to curls, protect against heat styling or refresh the
hairstyle between washes.
Being so thick and creamy, you could imagine the leave-in conditioner would leave the hair feeling and looking very greasy or
weighing it down, but that was far from the case. Used after washing my hair,
it was instantly absorbed, and once dry, my hair was left looking and feeling
soft, shiny, healthy, and full of volume. Just the
tiniest amount is required, simply spread between hands and then run over hair, instantly
smoothing out fly aways, and split ends. After having used Lavender & Anthyllis 24 Hour Intensive Moisture Leave-in Conditioner for a couple of weeks, I am happy to say that I feel that the
condition of my hair has improved. The ends feel and look healthier, more moisturised, and I do not feel that it is in any way building up in my
hair or weighing it down. The
150ml tube will last you a very long time and I think it
is amazing value. I can certainly recommend the Al'chemy Leave-in Conditioner if you
have normal to dry hair needing a moisture boost, and you are looking for a
chemical-free and natural product, but do not want to compromise on quality and
effectiveness. I will most definitely be checking out the rest of the Al'chemy
product range as well as purchase the Leave-in Conditioner Away in future.
Tip: A word of caution: it is so concentrated that you only need a tiny bit of the Al'chemy Leave-in Conditioner as using too much will leave the hair feeling a little sticky.
Purchased: No.
